MUSSOORIE
Mussoorie, also known as Queen of the Hills, is among the most popular hill stations of the country.A captivating paradise for leisure travellers and honeymooners, it is a perfect summer resort. Located on a 15-km-long horseshoe ridge with the grand Himalayas as a backdrop, Mussoorie spreads across at a height of 2,000 m above sea level. From this vantage point, it offers scenic views of Himalayas peaks in Western Garhwal.
DEHRADUN
Dehradun is located in the Doon Valley on the foothills of the Himalayas nestled between Song river, a tributary of Ganga on the east and the Asan river, a tributary of Yamuna on the west. The city is noted for its picturesque landscape and slightly milder climate and provides a gateway to the surrounding region.
RISHIKESH
Rishikesh is among the holiest places of Hindus. The tranquil and sometimes raging river of Ganges flows in eternity in this holy city, providing nourishment and life to many the earthly beings. The word Rishikesh literally suggests the ‘locks or hairs of a sage’. The city is famously known as the ‘Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas’ and the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’. Many locals, as well as foreign tourists, visit this place in the quest for spirituality and peace.
Itinerary
Day 1 - ARRIVE DELHI-MUSSORIE
On arrival at Delhi airport / Railway station, drive to Mussoorie. Rising over the Doon valley in the state of Uttaranchal is the Queen of Hill Stations, Mussoorie. The misty mountains, old fashioned architecture, the profusion of flowers and streams in Mussoorie makes it an ideal place for romantic people. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Evening time is free to explore the town and take a walk at Mall road. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Mussoorie.
Day 2 - MUSSOORIE-HALF DAY CITY SIGHSEEING
Today morning after breakfast, proceed for half day local sightseeing of Mussoorie. Visit Kempty Fall, Gun Hill, Camel’s Back Road, Nag Devta Temple, Mussoorie Lake, Van Chetna Kendra Jwalaji Temple (Benog Hill). Evening time is at leisure, you can take a walk on mall road (On your own). Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Mussoorie.
Day 3 - MUSSOORIE-DEHRADUN-GHALF CITY SIGHSEEING
Today morning after breakfast, proceed to Dehradun. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon, proceed for half day city sightseeing of Dehradun. Visit FRI, Rovers Cave & Local market of Dehradun. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Dehradun.
Day 4 - DEHRAQDUN-RISHIKESH
Today morning after breakfast, drive to Rishikesh. Rishikesh a spiritual city and the Yoga capital of the world. On arrival check-in at the hotel. In the evening, you’ll be taken to Parmarth Ashram to participate in the Ganga Aarti on the banks of Ganges. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Rishikesh.
Day 5 - RISHIKESH-HALF DAY CITY SIGHTSEEING
Today morning after breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing of Rishikesh. Visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Later return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Rishikesh
Day 6 - DEPART RISHIHKESH-DELHI
Today morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Delhi Airport / Railway Station to board your flight/ train back home or to your next destination.
