JINLI OLD STREET:
Chengdu is the capital of southwestern China’s Sichuan province. Chengdu’s history dates back to at least the 4th century B.C., when it served as capital for the Shu Kingdom. Artifacts from that dynasty are the focus of the Jinsha Site Museum. The city is also home to the famous Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, a conservation center where visitors can view endangered giant pandas in a natural habitat
LESHAN GIANT BUDDHA
The Leshan Giant Buddha is a 71-metre tall stone statue, built between 713 and 803. It is carved out of a cliff face of Cretaceous red bed sandstones that lies at the confluence of the Min River and Dadu River in the southern part of Sichuan Province in China, near the city of Leshan.
Itinerary
Day 1 : ARRIVE CHENGDU
Arrive at Chengdu International Airport. On arrival, transfer to your hotel & check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore on your own. You can visit Jinli Old Street. Overnight at the hotel in Chengdu.
Day 2 : CHENGDU - CITY TOUR
Today morning after breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Beijing. Visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding which is home of Giant Pandas, Red Pandas and other rare animals. Later visit the Leshan Giant Buddha which is the largest Maitreya Buddha statue carved out of a cliff in the world. Enjoy the boat ride with stunning views. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Chengdu.
Day 3 : CHENGDU - CHONGQING - EMBARK YANGZTE RIVER CRUISE
Today morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to train station or airport to board your train or flight to Chongqing. On arrival, visit the Ciqikou Ancient Town, Jiefangbai Square. Later transfer to cruise terminal for your 3 Nights Cruise. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 4 : ON THE CRUISE
Today wake up to an exotic morning over the river & enjoy the beauty of sunrise at the river. Later refresh & enjoy wide spread of breakfast on board. Enjoy the onboard cruise activities on your own. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 5 :DISEMBARK CRUISE - DEPAT YICHANG
Today morning after breakfast, disembark the cruise and transfer to train station or airport to board your train or flight to Yichang for your flight back home.
