BEIJING CITY TOUR:
Beijing, China’s sprawling capital, has history stretching back 3 millennia. Yet it’s known as much for modern architecture as its ancient sites such as the grand Forbidden City complex, the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Nearby, the massive Tiananmen Square pedestrian plaza is the site of Mao Zedong’s mausoleum and the National Museum of China, displaying a vast collection of cultural relics.
XIAN CITY TOUR:
Xi’an is a large city and capital of Shaanxi Province in central China. Once known as Chang’an (Eternal Peace), it marks the Silk Road’s eastern end and was home to the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties’ ruling houses. At archaeological sites in Xi’an’s surrounding plains are the famed Bingmayong (Terra Cotta Army), thousands of life-size, hand-molded figures buried with China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang.
SHANGHAI CITY TOUR:
Shanghai, on China’s central coast, is the country’s biggest city and a global financial hub. Its heart is the Bund, a famed waterfront promenade lined with colonial-era buildings. Across the Huangpu River rises the Pudong district’s futuristic skyline, including 632m Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, with distinctive pink spheres. Sprawling Yu Garden has traditional pavilions, towers and ponds.
Itinerary
Day 1 : ARRIVE BEIJING
Arrive at Beijing International Airport. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Beijing.
Day 2 : BEIJING - GREAT WALL OF CHINA
Today morning after breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Great Wall of China. Visit the Great wall at Juyong pass & explore the history of a wall built hundreds of years ago. Later visit the Jade factory & enroute have a photo stop at Olympic stadium. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Beijing.
Day 3 : BEIJING - CITY TOUR
Today morning after breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Beijing. Visit the Tiananmen Square, Forbidden city – the largest & most complete group of ancient buildings in China, Summer Palace, later time free for few hours for shopping at the Hongqioa market. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Beijing.
Day 4 : BEIJING - ZHENGZHOU
Today morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to train station or airport to board your train or flight to Zhengzhou. On arrival, transfer to Dengfeng and visit the Shaolin Temple. Later check-in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Luoyang.
Day 5 : LUOYANG - Xi’an
Today morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to visit the Longmen Grottoes the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese art of the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties (316-907), entirely devoted to the Buddhist religion which represent the high point of Chinese stone carving. Later transfer to train station or airport to board your train or flight to Xi’an. On arrival transfer to your hotel & check-in. Later visit the Big wild goose pagoda square with Fountain show. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Xi’an.
Day 6 : Xi’an - FULL DAY CITY TOUR
Today morning after breakfast, proceed for a full day tour to Terra Cotta – one of the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20 th century, & Crockery Factory. Return back to the city & have a photostop at City Wall. Later time free for few hours for shopping at the Muslim street. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Xi’an.
Day 7 : Xi’an - SHANGHAI
Today morning after breakfast, checkout from the hotel & transfer to the train station or airport to board your high speed bullet train or flight to Shanghai. On arrival transfer to your hotel & check-in. Overnight at the hotel in Shanghai.
Day 8 : SHANGHAI - CITY TOUR
Today morning after breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Shanghai. Visit the Silk factory, the 88th Floor of the Jinmao Tower and Bund area which is lined with fine colonial buildings from the 1930’s which have been restored as a showcase of the city. Later time free for few hours at the Yuyuan Bazaar for shopping. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Shanghai.
Day 9 : DEPART SHANGHAI
Today morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel & transfer to the Shanghai Airport for your flight back home.
