An inscription found in Sadras dated to 1359 mention this place as Rajanarayanan Pattinam after a Sambuvaraya chieftain. Day 1 - ARRIBE CHENNAI - HALF DAY CITY SIGHTSEEING

Day 2 - CHENNAI - FULL DAY EXCURSION TO KANCHIPURAM
Today morning after breakfast, proceed for full day excursion to Kanchipuram. Visit Kailasanathar Temple, Vaikunta Perumal Temple and the Dutch Fort. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Chennai.
Day 3 - CHENNAI - MAHABALIPURAM - HALF DAY CITY SIGHTSEEING
Today morning after breakfast, drive to Mahabalipuram. On arrival check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon proceed for half day sightseeing of Mahabalipuram. Visit Shore Temple, Ganesha Ratha, Thirumoorthi Cave and Mahabalipuram Beach. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Mahabalipuram.
Day 4 -MAHABALIPURAM - PONDICHRRY - HALF DAY CITY SIGHTSEEING
Today morning after breakfast, drive to Pondicherry. On arrival check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon proceed for half day sightseeing of Pondicherry. Visit Manakula Vinayagar Temple, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Miscellaneous, Pondicherry Museum, Chunnambar Boat House, Paradise Beach and Botanical Garden. Return back to the hotel. Day 5 - PONDICHERRY - FULL DAY CITY SIGHTSEEING
Today morning after breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing of Pondicherry. Visit Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Basilica Of Sacred Heart Of Jesus, Jawahar Toy Museum, Mahatma Gandhi Statue and Pondicherry Beach or Promenade Beach. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Pondicherry
Day 6 - PONDICHERY DEPART CHENNAI
Today morning after breakfast, you will be transfer to Chennai Airport/ Railway station to board your flight / train back home or to your next destination.
