JAISALMER
Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading center and a princely state in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Known as the “Golden City,” it’s distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. Dominating the skyline is Jaisalmer Fort, a sprawling hilltop citadel buttressed by 99 bastions. Behind its massive walls stand the ornate Maharaja’s Palace and intricately carved Jain temples.
JODHPUR
Jodhpur is a city in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Its 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace that’s now a museum, displaying weapons, paintings and elaborate royal palanquins (sedan chairs). Set on on a rocky outcrop, the fort overlooks the walled city, where many buildings are painted the city’s iconic shade of blue.

Itinerary
Day 1 - DAY1: ARRIVE JODHPUR - JAISALMER - HALF DAY CIRTY SIGHTSEEING
Arrive at Jodhpur Airport/ Railway station, you will proceed to Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer – a fairy-tale town in the Thar Desert founded about 800 years ago by Rawal Jaisal. Unlike any other city, this desert fortress is one of Rajasthan’s most exotic and unusual towns. It is often described as the ‘Golden City’. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon proceed for half day city sightseeing. Visit the most elaborate and magnificent of all the Jaisalmer havelis the Patwaon Ki Haveli, other two are Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Nathmal Ki Haveli, and than visit Jaisalmer Fort and its complex. Return back to the hotel. Rest of the time is at leisure to explore the town on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Jaisalmer.
Day 2 - JAISALMER - FULL DAY CITY SIGHTSEEING
Today morning after breakfast, you will proceed for full day excursion to Gadsisar Lake, Lodhurva, Amar Sagar, Kuldhara Village and Sam Sand Dunes. Visit Gadsisar Lake – A scenic rainwater lake with numerous beautiful shrines around than proceed to Lodhurva, which has a great number of peacocks, which hover around the temple walls lending spectacular color to the dry and stony landscape. And than proceed to visit the Amar Sagar and Kuldhara Village. In the evening, proceed for the excursion to Sam Sand dunes. Sam Sand Dunes is the closest point to witness the total sandy desert. Sam Sand Dunes also provide you with an unforgettable experience of camel rides (On your own) and the sunset. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Jaisalmer.
Day 3 - JAISALMER - JODHPUR - HALF DAY CTYT SIGHTSEEING
Today morning after breakfast, drive to Jodhpur. Jodhpur – The Blue City – An oasis in the arid Thar Desert, Jodhpur is the second largest city in the state of Rajasthan. On arrival check-in to the hotel. Later in the afternoon proceed for half day city sightseeing. Visit the Meherangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Sardar Bazaar and Clock Tower. Return back to the hotel. Evening is at leisure to explore the town on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 4 - DEPART JODHPUR
Today morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Jodhpur Airport/ Railway Station to board your flight/ train back home or to your next destination.
